Welcome to the Center for Protected Area Management (CPAM) at Colorado State University’s and the U.S. Forest Service International Program’s 2020 bilingual (English/Spanish) 2-part webinar series focused on global protected area issues. Part 1, “Building Resilience” (August-October 2020) invites you to gain diverse perspectives from panelists on persevering through crises and building resilience to perpetuate the benefits of protected areas for the world. This webinar series is organized and offered by the Center for Protected Area Management (CPAM) at Colorado State University and U.S. Forest Service International Programs. We invite you to register for any of our webinar sessions in English or Spanish. All webinar sessions will be simultaneously broadcasted live on our Facebook site.

SESSION 2A “Financial Resilience for Protected Areas Now and in the Future” dives into strategies to promote financial resilience for protected areas so that they can weather times of crises and thrive well on into the future. This session will be moderated by CPAM’s co-director Jim Barborak.
