Judah Marsden
As Communications Coordinator at Andes Amazon Fund (AAF) Judah Marsden brings over five years of expertise in institutional communications with a focus on the environment and a technical background in multimedia production and editing. He previously worked at the Amazon Conservation Team (ACT) as a multimedia content creator, reporting on programmatic stories through audio, visuals, maps and writing about the territories and communities ACT’s Amazonia-wide work is accomplished in.
At the University of California at Berkeley he majored in Conservation and Resource studies, completing his honors thesis with Professor Claudia Carr about the defense of territory and tradition by Chiquitano communities in Santa Cruz, Bolivia through partnerships with civil society organizations. As a student he interned at Amazon Watch working on digital communications about policy, human rights and environment in Amazonia.
Outside of AAF he enjoys cycling, cooking and writing about South America’s hydroclimate.
